• You must maintain the security of your account credentials

We reserve the right to verify your age and identity at any time. Failure to provide requested verification may result in account suspension or termination.

When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and complete
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your password
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Not share your account with any other person
• Not create multiple accounts

You may enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for additional security. We strongly recommend enabling this feature.

SkillStake provides a platform for skill-based competitive gaming. Our service includes:

• Access to skill-based games including Chess, 8-Ball Pool, and Battleships
• Tournament creation and participation
• Wallet functionality for deposits, withdrawals, and prize distribution
• Player rankings and statistics
• Match history and replay functionality

All games on our platform are skill-based and do not involve elements of chance. Outcomes are determined solely by player skill, strategy, and decision-making.

• Deposits can be made via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) or cryptocurrency (USDT)
• All deposits are non-refundable except as required by law
• Minimum deposit amounts apply and are displayed during the deposit process
• Deposit fees may apply and will be clearly disclosed before confirmation
• Funds are typically available within 24 hours for EFT, instantly for cryptocurrency

• Withdrawals can be requested at any time to your verified bank account or crypto wallet
• Minimum withdrawal amounts apply and are displayed during the withdrawal process
• Withdrawal fees may apply and will be clearly disclosed before confirmation
• Withdrawals are typically processed within 1-3 business days for EFT
• Cryptocurrency withdrawals are typically processed within 24 hours
• We reserve the right to request identity verification before processing withdrawals
• Withdrawals may be delayed or denied if we suspect fraudulent activity

• A platform fee is deducted from tournament prize pools
• The current platform fee percentage is displayed in tournament details
• Platform fees are used to maintain and improve the service
• Fee structures may change with notice to users

• Winnings are credited to your wallet immediately upon tournament completion
• Prize distributions are calculated based on tournament settings
• You are responsible for any taxes on your winnings
• We may withhold prizes if we suspect cheating, fraud, or violation of these Terms

• You must have sufficient funds in your wallet to cover the entry fee
• Entry fees are deducted immediately upon tournament registration
• Tournament spots are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis
• You may cancel your registration before the tournament starts for a full refund
• Once a tournament begins, entry fees are non-refundable

• Players must be ready to play when their match is scheduled
• Players who fail to ready up within the timeout period may be eliminated
• All game moves must be made within the allotted time limits
• Disconnections are treated as forfeits unless reconnection is made promptly
• Match results are final and cannot be disputed except for technical errors

• Chess matches may include time controls (Bullet, Blitz, Rapid)
• Time increments may be added after each move
• Players who run out of time automatically lose the match
• Time is tracked server-side to ensure accuracy

You agree not to:

• Use cheating software, bots, or automated tools
• Collude with other players to manipulate tournament outcomes
• Engage in match-fixing or intentional losing
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• Share account credentials or allow others to play on your account
• Use offensive, abusive, or inappropriate usernames
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
• Attempt to exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in the platform
• Engage in money laundering or fraudulent financial activity
• Use VPNs or proxies to circumvent geographic restrictions
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service

Violation of these rules may result in account suspension, termination, and forfeiture of funds.

All content on the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of SkillStake or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws.

The SkillStake name and logo are trademarks of SkillStake. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written permission.

We collect, use, and protect your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your information as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encryption of sensitive data in transit and at rest
• Secure password hashing using bcrypt
• Optional two-factor authentication
• Regular security audits and updates

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that the results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SkillStake, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any disputes between you and other users

In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, you agree to first contact us at support@skillstake.net to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, you agree that any legal action must be brought in the courts of [Your Jurisdiction], and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity
• Extended period of inactivity
• Request by law enforcement or regulatory authorities

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may request withdrawal of your remaining balance, subject to verification and compliance with these Terms.

You may also close your account at any time by contacting support. Upon closure, you may withdraw your remaining balance after any pending tournaments are completed.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect and enforceable.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SkillStake regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
